Successful and efficient financial system plays a key role in the success of any institution. The Finance department of KIU Hunza Campus under the leadership of Assistant Director finance is responsible for the all financial matters, resources and assets of the university campus. The finance department is also responsible for the management of academic, research and management sectors, furniture, laboratory equipment, library books, journals and all purchases in close collaboration with the finance Team of KIU Main Campus. Further, it is the responsibility of the department to prepare campus annual budget and get approval from the concern forum. All the financial transactions of student education are kept safe and updated through a regular computerized system. Effective measures have been taken to prevent unnecessary expenses, So that the budget does not get lost. Financial audits and regular financial estimations are made to effectively conduct internal financial system and regular audits from the Authentic Chartered Account firm and Auditor General of Pakistan.
The Finance Department’s staff and trained officers are performing their duties with full commitment and consent to implement a non-bank financial system in the university so that the university is financially stable.
